Getting started with Startship

01Before you begin

You'll need access to your HKTVmall MMS account (as the store owner or an admin) and about 15 minutes. A barcode scanner and label printer help, but you can start without them.

02Set up in six steps

1. Step 101Sign up. Create your account with your work email. This creates your company in Startship.
2. Step 202Choose billing. Startship is HK$1,000 monthly or HK$10,000 yearly, with unlimited stores, orders, users and warehouses and a 14-day free trial.
3. Step 303Create your warehouse. Add your warehouse and, if you like, its bin locations (e.g. A-01-03). You can add more later.
4. Step 404Connect your store. Connect your HKTVmall store with your store code, UUID and private key. See the HKTVmall guide.
5. Step 505Map your SKUs. Match each HKTVmall SKU to a master SKU in Startship, including bundles. Orders with unmapped SKUs wait in the exceptions list.
6. Step 606Your first order sync. Startship pulls your recent orders right away, then checks for new ones every 5 minutes. They'll appear in the order pool ready to pick.

03Next

Invite your team from Settings → Users and give each person a role (Admin, Warehouse staff or Viewer). Then set up your printer so labels come out the right size.
