Printer setup
A5 or 100 × 150 mm thermal labels, the HKTV paper sizes, and the browser print settings that matter.
01Choose your label format
| Format | Printer | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| A5 | Any office laser or inkjet | HKTV waybill on A5, or two per A4 sheet |
| 100 × 150 mm (4 × 6 in) | Thermal label printer | Courier labels (SF Express, Cainiao, JDL) and HKTV label formats |
02HKTV paper sizes
Set your HKTV waybill paper size in Settings → Printing. HKTVmall offers three:
- A5: full waybill on A5 paper.
- LABEL_WAYBILL_ONLY: waybill only, on a thermal label.
- LABEL_WITH_SKU_LIST: waybill plus the order's SKU list, on a thermal label.
03Browser print settings
Startship gives you a PDF. When you print it from Chrome or Edge, check these settings once. Most browsers remember them.
- Step 1Paper size: match your labels (A5, or 100 × 150 mm / 4 × 6 in).
- Step 2Scale: 100% (or Actual size). Never Fit to page; it shrinks the barcode.
- Step 3Margins: None.
- Step 4Headers and footers: Off.
If the barcode won't scan, it's almost always scaling. Re-check that scale is 100% and margins are None.
04Thermal printer tips
- Install the manufacturer's driver and create a 100 × 150 mm paper size in the driver settings.
- Calibrate the printer after loading a new roll so labels don't drift.
- Print one test label and scan it before a big batch.
