How to connect HKTVmall
Enable Open API in MMS, copy your UUID and private key, and paste them into Startship.
01What you'll need
An HKTVmall MMS login with permission to manage your store settings, and your store code (for example H0000001).
02In HKTVmall MMS
- Step 1Log in to MMS.
- Step 2Go to Merchant → Merchant Store Status.
- Step 3Find Enable Open API and set it to Yes.
- Step 4Copy the UUID and the Private key somewhere safe. The private key is shown only once.
- Step 5Click Save. This is the step most people miss: if you don't save, the key won't work.
Click Save in MMS before you leave the page. Generating a new key later replaces the old pair, so any system still using the old key will stop working.
03In Startship
- Step 1Go to Channels → Connect store → HKTVmall.
- Step 2Paste your store code, UUID and private key.
- Step 3Click Connect. Startship checks the connection with HKTVmall and shows your store name when it works.
04If the connection fails
| Message | What to check |
|---|---|
| Invalid key | The private key was copied incompletely, or a new key was generated after you copied it. Generate a new pair in MMS, click Save, and try again. |
| Store not found | Check your store code. It's the code shown in MMS, not your shop name. |
| Open API not enabled | Enable Open API is still No, or the change wasn't saved. Set it to Yes and click Save. |
05Is my key safe?
Your private key is encrypted at rest and is never sent back to your browser after you save it. Startship only ever shows its last 4 characters.
