Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Startship website and software service (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent.
1. The Service
Startship provides warehouse management, order fulfilment and shipping-label printing software that connects to third-party sales channels and couriers. Features may change as we improve the Service.
2. Accounts
You must give accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the users you invite.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Startship is billed in advance through Stripe at HK$1,000 monthly or HK$10,000 yearly, with a 14-day free trial for new companies. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Billing-period changes are processed through Stripe. Fees are in Hong Kong dollars and are non-refundable except where required by law.
4. Unlimited usage
The Startship plan has no usage caps on channel stores, monthly orders, users or warehouses. Monthly and yearly subscriptions include the same features. Channel integrations are available as listed on the integrations page.
5. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party APIs, including HKTVmall, couriers and Stripe. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy or changes. You are responsible for complying with each channel's and courier's own terms and for the credentials you connect.
6. Your data
You own the data you put into the Service. You give us permission to process it only to provide the Service. For personal data of your customers, you are the data user under the PDPO and we act as your data processor.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service, attempt to access other customers' data, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes.
8. Suspension and cancellation
You may cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. If a subscription becomes inactive, syncing and channel write-backs stop, but your data is kept with read-only access for a reasonable period so you can export it.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction.
